Overview
OFFERED ALL YEAR ROUND The Performing Arts Education Workshops, by OrlandoFest, are designed to encourage middle, junior high and high school performance groups to excel by providing an inspiring, fun and educational performance experience. Our TOTALLY CUSTOMIZED workshops focus on reinforcing important concepts that help fine-tune techniques that will guide students toward excellence in their performance. Since our customized educational workshops are NEVER THE SAME, our unique hands-on sessions will enrich the learning experience for the entire ensemble, individual musician, and the director.
Directors choose the specific areas of focus for their students in advance of the workshop, from preparation and skill-development to rehearsing and performing. This helps your music group receive the greatest music education value from the experience, as you continue to build your music program.

Instrumental Workshops
OrlandoFest instrumental workshops are designed to improve each participant’s ensemble performance. Our nationally recognized clinicians will present clinics and workshops that benefit you and your students by offering a customized approach. Our nationally recognized clinicians will encourage your students to improve their overall practice techniques, sound production, intonation, blend, phrasing, articulation and jazz improvisation (where applicable). Practical tips for audition and concert preparation may be given as well as recommendations for choosing proper equipment, (reeds, mouthpieces, mallets, etc.) to get the most out of their performance.

- Concert Bands, Symphonic Bands, Wind Ensembles, Orchestras, Jazz Bands, Chamber Groups
- Topics Covered:
- Sound, Intonation, Blending, Phrasing, Articulation, Key Signature, Sight Reading, Improvisation, Practice Techniques, Preparing for an Audition.

Choral Workshops
Maintaining a healthy voice is key to being a good singer regardless of music style. OrlandoFest Choral Workshops explore the versatility and nuance of the voice to enhance the sound and vitality of your ensemble. We focus our workshops on the important principals of breathing, support, resonance, blend, repertoire, and song tradition. Students will be directed to encourage quality of performance and to improve musical standards.

- Breathing, Vocal Technique/Tonal Quality, Dynamics, Phrasing, Rehearsal Pacing, Blending, and Preparing for an Audition
