
Register NowExhibit your pageantry and parade as your auxiliary ensemble takes the stage at OrlandoFest. Performances take place in either an outdoor or indoor performance space or at a designated OrlandoFest festival competition location. Each auxiliary ensemble will receive 10 minutes of performance time, along with a 10-minute clinic.
Schedule
Directors can choose competitive and non-competitive adjudication options. OrlandoFest highly recommends that music educators schedule time for their students to observe other ensemble performances.
All registration forms are reviewed and ensembles are scheduled based on ensemble classification and student crossover considerations. Every attempt will be made to accommodate requested dates. All directors will receive an OrlandoFest handbook with important event information. Final schedules are sent at least three weeks prior to the event.
- OrlandoFest Itinerary:
- Friday — Festival competition performances will be held at Olympia High School and/or Freedom High School (afternoon and evening).
Saturday — Festival competition performances will be held at Olympia High School and/or Freedom High School. The OrlandoFest Awards Ceremony will be held at Universal Studios®.Please note that the OrlandoFest dates, of April 20-21, 27-28, and May 4th, run in conjunction with a Universal Orlando® Resort special event, called Grad Bash. Due to this special event, both Universal parks will close early and it will also move the OrlandoFest Awards Ceremony to an earlier start time, on April 21 & 28. Further details, will be provided upon your registration for these specific dates.

Performances
When your ensemble participates in OrlandoFest, you will perform before nationally renowned adjudicators whose focus is providing feedback and comments that will accentuate your ensemble’s performance. Our nationally renowned adjudicators will provide both written and digitally recorded comments for your vocal ensemble.

- Penalty Information
- OrlandoFest may assess up to two (2) penalty points for each of the following infractions:
- Ensemble exceeding the total allotted time within their assigned routing schedule
- Utilization of non-student performers in a participating ensemble
- Inappropriate and/or unsafe student conduct
Clinics
OrlandoFest provides the opportunity for your auxiliary ensemble to participate in a personalized clinic with one of our nationally renowned adjudicators immediately following your performance. During this clinic, your ensemble will have the opportunity to receive immediate feedback on their performance and obtain key advice on how to improve and fine tune their performance.

Venues
OrlandoFest performance venues include:
The performing arts centers at both Olympia and Freedom high schools. Both are located in close proximity to Universal Orlando® Resort in Orlando. These 850-seat venues are equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology for your music festival competition.

Awards Ceremony
An exciting, high-energy OrlandoFest Awards Ceremony will take place in selected venues at Universal Orlando® Resort (subject to change with notice) each festival competition weekend! This fun and high-energy awards ceremony will take place on Saturday evening and will include the presentation of awards.
Directors will be asked to select two (2) student representatives from each performing ensemble, in advance, to join them on stage to receive their awards. Casual attire is acceptable for the awards ceremony but must be appropriate for the stage. (Participants with attire in poor taste will not be allowed to represent their ensemble during the awards ceremony.)
- OrlandoFest Participation Award
- All ensembles will receive an OrlandoFest participation award. This award will display the ensemble’s name, school name, and festival rating.
- Division Awards
- Custom-designed OrlandoFest Division Awards in Gold, Silver, and Bronze will be presented to the ensembles with the three highest scores within each division and classification, provided there are three (3) competiting ensembles.

- OrlandoFest Grand Champion Awards
- Custom-designed OrlandoFest Grand Champion awards will be presented to the highest, superior-rated ensembles within the following categories, regardless of classification, and provided there are a minimum of three (3) or more competitive ensembles within a classification (Middle School, Junior High and High School will be awarded separately):
