Awards Ceremony

Imagine the glitz and glamor of walking down the “red carpet,” having your picture taken by the “paparazzi,” seeing your name in lights, and experiencing an awards ceremony like no other! Your students now have the opportunity to experience the excitement and thrills of being the STARS of their awards ceremony. Held at Universal Orlando® Resort, the OrlandoFest awards ceremony is available exclusively to OrlandoFest participants and their chaperones.

This fun and high-energy awards ceremony will take place on Saturday evenings of each festival weekend, at the Animal Actors On Location!SM venue at Universal Orlando® Resort (subject to change with notice) and will include the presentation of awards.

Directors will be asked to select two (2) student representatives from each performing ensemble, in advance, to join them on stage to receive their awards. Casual attire is acceptable for the awards ceremony but must be appropriate for the stage. (Participants with attire in poor taste will not be allowed to represent their ensemble during the awards ceremony)

Times are subject to change, please consult your OrlandoFest confirmation packet for your times during your participation weekend.

• 6:00 PM- All groups should be inside the Universal Studios Theme Park
• 8:00 PM- Groups encouraged to watch Universal Mardi Gras Parade (select Saturdays)
• 8:30 PM- Gates open for OrlandoFest Awards Ceremony- (Animal Actors on Location Stage)
• 8:45 PM- OrlandoFest Gala Awards Ceremony begins
• 9:45 PM- OrlandoFest Gala Awards Ceremony concludes
